Litchfield Christian Women’s Club

LITCHFIELD – The Litchfield Christian Women’s Club will have a “Handmade and Homemade” brunch at 9 a.m. Sept. 13 at First Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Karen Anderson of Minnetonka will speak on “From Darkness to Light” about dealing with growing up in an alcoholic family. Bring something you made or bought to contribute to the annual silent auction “Country Makins.” Tickets are $9. Brunch reservations must be made by noon Sept. 9. Call Barb Werner at 320-693-2504.

WILLMAR – Willmar United Methodist Church will celebrate its 125th anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 8, at the church in Willmar. Following the morning service, a meal will be served for $5. Purchase tickets in advance only at the church.
