Town hall to be hosted Nov. 21 in Willmar on impact of underage drinking

The public will have a chance to learn more about the impact of underage drinking at a town hall set for Thursday, sponsored by the Kandiyohi County Drug-Free Communities Coalition.

WILLMAR — A town hall on "Underage Drinking: It's Not What It Used to Be" will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at the WEAC Building in Willmar.

The event is sponsored by the Kandiyohi County Drug-Free Communities Coalition.

A panel of area experts will share how underage drinking has affected their clients. The panel also includes a parent who will share personal experience with how underage drinking affected their family. The presentation will be followed by time for questions and answers.
