REDWOOD FALLS — A 19-year-old Marshall woman was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash Sunday night near Morton, according to a news release from the Renville County Sheriff's Office .
According to the release, Maryan Ali was driving southbound on Highway 71 when she lost control of her vehicle and went toward the right ditch. Law enforcement believes that she then over-corrected, causing the vehicle to slide across the snow- and ice-covered road and into the left ditch, hitting an embankment, causing the vehicle to roll onto its roof near County Road 15 in Beaver Falls Township.
Ali was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Carris Health — Redwood Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash and the driver was wearing a seat belt at the time.

This crash remains under investigation.
Morton Fire and Rescue, Morton Medical Response Unit and CentraCare Ambulance in Redwood Falls also responded to the incident reported at 9:36 p.m. Sunday.
