NEW LONDON -- Two people were injured in a crash Sunday afternoon along County Road 5 between Norway and Games lakes.

Louis W. Larson, 68, and 10-month-old Anna S. Larson were both injured when the 2001 Dodge pickup they were riding in was hit by another vehicle. Anna was taken to a hospital by Sunburg Ambulance with possible injuries. Louis was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and was taken to a hospital by New London Ambulance.

The crash happened after a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am being driven south by Amanda J. Stamps, 22, of Brooten crossed over the center line into traffic. The Dodge pickup, driven by David W. Larson, 40, of Willmar, was headed north along County Road 5 when the two vehicles collided.

Both David and Stamps were uninjured in the crash. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department, Minnesota State Patrol, New London Ambulance, Sunburg Ambulance and Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad assisted at the scene.
