100 x 2 at 31st Kandiyohi Parade

Kandiyohi resident Helen Miller, born May 14 in Meeker County 100 years ago, and a 1914 Model-T Ford, make a perfect match at the 31st annual Kandiyohi Parade on Saturday. The car is driven by owner Brian Peterka of Grove City. At age 90, Helen moved from rural Darwin to live with her daughter’s family in Kandiyohi. Sharon Onnen had read in the paper that the Model-T won “Oldest Car” at the Willmar Car Show in May. She contacted Peterka and arranged the pairing of her mother and another century-old original.
