WILLMAR - Two jurors were seated this morning in the trial of Brok Junkermeier, accused of first-degree in the death of Lila Warwick, 79, at her Willmar home.
Junkermeier, 19, of Willmar is accused of strangling and stabbing Warwick on July 29, 2013, and has been in custody on $2 million bail since last summer.
The two women chosen this morning bring the number of jurors up to 12. Interviews with potential jurors will continue in the afternoon. A full panel for the trial will be 12 jurors and two alternates.
Jury selection began Tuesday. In the first two-and-a-half days of jury selection, nearly 50 people have been interviewed in the courtroom to find the dozen jurors already seated.

Many have been dismissed because they already have strong opinions about the case. Others have been excused for medical or work-related reasons.
Opening statements from the attorneys are likely to take place Friday morning, with witness testimony beginning Monday in the Kandiyohi County Courthouse in Willmar.
