WILLMAR - Kandiyohi County 4-H wrapped up the year with its annual awards and achievement night Nov. 13. The event recognized outstanding 4-H members and volunteers for their contributions to the program.
The event was sponsored by the Willmar Noon Kiwanis.
The presentation recognized 141 4-H members for outstanding records and project achievement. Adult leaders Paul and Sue Bredeson of Sunny Oaks 4-H Club and Bety Danielson of Kandi Countrysiders 4-H Club, were recognized with a Silver Clover Award for five years of service to 4-H. John Cunningham of Active Acres, and independents Kindra Carlson and Calvin Petersen, were recognized with a Gold Clover Award for ten years of service.
The Pearl Clover for 15 years of service was awarded to independent Sharon Schoumaker.
The Diamond Clover Award for 20 years of service was presented to independents Anita Geske and Maydean Petersen. A special award of recognition was presented to Dianne Robison of New Horizons 4-H Club.

The following 4-H graduates were recognized for years of exceptional service and leadership in 4-H: Kelsey Baker, 10 years, and Allison Johnson, 11 years, both of Arctander Aces; Jennifer Cunningham, 11 years, and Isaac Fordyce, 13 years, both of Active Acres; Daniel Bremseth, 11 years, and Joshua Kraemer, 2 years, both of Fahlun Go-Getters; Brandon Hallberg, 11 years, of Kandi Countrysiders; and Shannon Juhnke, 7 years, and Krista Ledeboer, 11 years, both of St. John's Roadrunners.
Zachary Liebl of the St. John's Roadrunners was named the Top 4-H Reporter, sponsored by the West Central Tribune. Joshua Kraemer of Fahlun Go-Getters was named Top 4-H Secretary, sponsored by Legal & Administrative Associates, Inc.
Stacy Gunderson of Mamre Merrymakers and Jennifer Viaene of St. John's Roadrunners, received the prestigious Minnesota Key Award.
Two Cooperator Awards were given by Kandiyohi County Farmer's Union for participation and cooperation in 4-H events. They went to Christa Moller of Shooting Stars and Zachary Liebl of St. John's Roadrunners.
Briana Jahn of Arctander Aces and Joe Dunlavy of Shooting Stars, were named the 2005 Outstanding 4-H Youth Leaders, sponsored by Kandiyohi County Farm Bureau.
Stacy Gunderson, Mamre Merrymakers and Jennifer Viaene, all of St. John's Roadrunners, were named the 2005 Outstanding Longtime 4-H'ers, sponsored by Bremer Bank.
The 4-H members also nominated community members and businesses as friends of 4-H for their support of the 4-H program. From these nominations, Sarah Schieck and Mona Bonham were named 2005 Friends of 4-H.
