Brian Bock (1994 graduate)

  • Earned nine letters in basketball, football and baseball.
  • Scored 1,007 career points in basketball.
  • Won Tribune Hengstler-Ranweiler Award in 1994 for outstanding male athlete in the area.
  • KSAX Male Athlete of the Year in 1994.
  • Mount Olivet Award for Outstanding Male Athlete in 1994.

Chad Carlson (1990 graduate)

  • Earned 10 letters in football, wrestling and baseball.
  • Participated six years on varsity in wrestling and won two state titles (1989 and '90). Finished his career with 167 wins.
  • High School All-American in wrestling.
  • Won 75 matches and was a three-time national qualifier in wrestling for the Minnesota Gophers.

Roger "Shorty" Schroeder

  • Willmar boys basketball coach from 1974-85. He posted an overall record of 160-77.
  • Willmar girls basketball coach from 1988-85. He posted an overall record of 112-55.
  • Won six Central Lakes Conference titles in boys basketball and three in girls basketball.
  • Qualified for the state tournament three times in boys basketball and twice in girls basketball.
