Three area girls will compete for the title of Miss Minnesota Teen USA this weekend in Bloomington.
Ashley Van Zee of Willmar, Megan Herickhoff of Belgrade and Jessica Wheeler of Redwood Falls are among the 72 young women that are competing.
The contestants will be judged on evening gown, fitness/ swimwear and personality interview.
The finals will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Sheraton Hotel in Bloomington.
Van Zee is the daughter of Won and Lavonne Van Zee of Willmar.

Herickhoff is the daughter of Mark and Donna Herickhoff of Belgrade.
Wheeler is the daughter of Bill and Shari Hunter of Redwood Falls.
