MINNEAPOLIS -- U.S. Bank will be announced the naming-rights partner for the Vikings’ new stadium on a 25-year, $220 million deal, the Sports Business Journal reported Monday.

The publication reported the deal will be announced next Monday, and the new facility will be called U.S. Bank Stadium. The Vikings had no comment on the report, although owner Zygi Wilf did say last week he expected a naming rights deal to be announced this summer.

The publication reported the deal had been completed in March for U.S. Bank to having naming rights on the $1.18 million stadium, which will open next year.

The Vikings next season will play their second of two years outdoors at TCF Bank Stadium.
