The Shooting Stars 4-H club met Nov. 8 at the Dovre Township Hall with eight members present. Plans were made for the December meeting, which will be preceded by a potluck supper. The members also decided to make craft items for nursing home residents at the December meeting.
After the business meeting, Grant Schellberg gave a presentation on his electric projects, which included his state fair demonstration and purple ribbon fire alarm display. The members had to cover their ears as he set off the alarm with its blaring horn and flashing lights.
After lunch, the members participated in a spooky Halloween themed reading which had some of the members rolling on the floor with laughter. Interested families are welcome to join us at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Dovre Township Hall.
