HAWICK -- A Sauk Centre man was treated and released at Paynesville Hospital for injuries he sustained in a four-vehicle accident around 3:30 p.m. Monday on state Highway 23 new Hawick.

According to the State Patrol, Nathan D. Lieser, 20, was transported by Paynesville Ambulance. Four other men were not injured in the crash.

Gary V. Stradtmann, 54, of Atwater, was driving a 2000 Ford pickup eastbound on Highway 23 and had stopped to make a left turn. He was rear-ended by a 1992 Honda Accord driven by Lieser. Stradtmann's vehicle was pushed into oncoming traffic and struck head-on by a 1990 Peterbuilt semi tractor driven by David J. Sand-vig, 37, of Belgrade.

The semi then entered the ditch and struck a Bombardier track vehicle driven by Matthew A. Bauman, 24, of Pine City. The track vehicle was working on power lines in the ditch.
