41-year-old Raymond man facing drug charge for alleged meth sale to drug task force informant

WILLMAR -- Jeffery Sydney Summerlet, 41, of Raymond, made his first court appearance Wednesday on a first-degree drug sale charge for allegedly selling 10.4 grams of meth to a drug task force informant last December.

WILLMAR -- Jeffery Sydney Summerlet, 41, of Raymond, made his first court appearance Wednesday on a first-degree drug sale charge for allegedly selling 10.4 grams of meth to a drug task force informant last December.

Unconditional bail was set at $100,000 with conditional bail at $30,000. His next appearance in Kandiyohi County District Court is Aug. 16.

According to the complaint, a CEE-VI Drug Task Force informant and an agent met Summerlet at his Raymond residence Dec. 22 and traveled with him to Willmar.

The gr-oup went to a car wash, wh-ere they met a man.

They th-en went to a bakery, where they met with another man, who supplied Summerlet with 10.7 grams of meth.

The informant gave Summerlet half a gram of meth for setting up the deal. The remaining drugs were later handed over to the CEE-VI agent.

Summerlet was arrested Tuesday and allegedly admitted to making the sale.
