FARGO — Locals will have two chances to see Vice President Mike Pence in Fargo next week, including at a free event focusing on tax cuts that will feature Pence as a special guest.

Nonprofit group America First Policies is planning a "Tax Cuts to Put America First" event at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, in the Crystal Ballroom at Delta Hotels by Marriott, 1635 42nd St. S., according to an online posting about the upcoming talk.

The nonprofit, which was launched in January 2017 to stump for President Donald Trump's agenda, has said that event will feature the group's president, Brian Walsh, as well as special guest Pence. It's free to attend, and doors will open at noon for the 2 p.m. event.

Pence will also be at a "special VIP Reception Fundraiser" that costs $1,000 per person to support the U.S. Senate campaign of Rep. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., who plans to challenge incumbent Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp this fall. That fundraiser is also scheduled for March 27 in Fargo, though an email from Cramer's campaign about the event didn't identify the location or time.
