CANNON FALLS, Minn. (AP) - A 5-year-old rural Cannon Falls boy is dead after he fell from the bucket of a skid loader and was crushed.

Goodhue County sheriff's authorities say Matthew Mallett was riding in the skid loader driven by a 49-year-old woman when the accident happened Thursday evening.

The Post-Bulletin ( http://bit.ly/1d9ZEQz ) reports the boy was taken to a Cannon Falls hospital, where he died.
