911 and regular phones services restored in Pope County

GLENWOOD -- The Pope County Sheriff's Office reports that the 911 and regular phone service has been restored in all of Pope County.

Pope County Sheriff Tom Larson had reported Friday morning that a fiber optic phone cable had been cut in the TDS system limiting service in the Sedan, Terrace and Brooten areas.

The sheriff's office's cell phone 911 services did work during the outage, according to the sheriff's press release.
