OLIVIA — Fifty-seven seniors from BOLD High School in Olivia graduated from high school Friday evening in a ceremony they'll probably never forget.
The ceremony included a drive-up presentation of each senior's diploma, followed by a parade through the communities of Olivia, Bird Island and Lake Lillian. The diploma ceremony was streamed live on Facebook while speeches by educators and students were broadcast on 100.1 FM Big Country radio station.
Led by police cars and fire trucks with lights and sirens blaring, the seniors were congratulated by family, friends and community members as they drove through the towns in, or on top of, festively-decorated vehicles.
