MONTEVIDEO -- A. Clifford Anderson, 94, of rural Montevideo, died Wednesday at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Saviours Lutheran Church in Baxter. Burial will be in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be in the afternoon and evening Monday, with the family present from 5 to 7 and a prayer service at 6:30, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
He was born Jan. 1, 1913, in Camp Release Township, Lac qui Parle County, to Anders and Hannah (Moen) Anderson. He attended school in District 15.

He married Sylvia Steffenson Jan. 7, 1951, in Montevideo.
He was a long-time farmer in Camp Release Township. He was a life member of Our Saviours Lutheran Church in Baxter.
He is survived by his wife; five children: Conrad (and Deb) Anderson of Red Lodge, Mont., AlRoy (and special-friend Jan Larson) of Montevideo, Cynthia (and Mark) Johnson of Montevideo, Steven (and Dianne) Anderson of Montevideo and Shelley Anderson (and special friend Marc Cliplef) of Montevideo; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, including one in infancy, and one brother.
