A flag for every veteran

Arne Gynild places a flag, observed by fellow Legionaire Jim Buisman, at the tombstone of Pfc. John Conway (1892-1946), a WWI veteran. Also placing flags at St. Mary's Cemetery Saturday morning were Ron Andreen and Tom Stoffel. Squads from the American Legion Post 167 and Veterans of Foreign Wars 1639 placed about 1,860 flags on the graves of veterans on Memorial Day Weekend.
