DARWIN -- One person was taken to Meeker County Memorial Hospital Monday after two vehicles collided on U.S. Highway 12 near Darwin, according to the Meeker County Sheriff's Department.
One vehicle was attempting to make a U-turn on U.S. Highway 12 before 4:30 p.m. and was struck by another vehicle, according to the Sheriff's Department. The accident blocked the eastbound lane of traffic.
Gold Cross Ambulance transported one person to the hospital, according to the Sheriff's Department.
The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the accident. No further information was available from the state patrol Tuesday night.
