Motorcyclist injured in western Renville County

SACRED HEART – A 32-year-old Redwood Falls man was injured when he lost control of his motorcycle and fell off it on U.S. Highway 212 south of the Granite Falls Energy facility at 7:45 p.m. Saturday.

Kristofor Mikael Mork was westbound driving a 2012 Victory motorcycle on Highway 212 near Renville County Road 37 in Hawk Creek Township, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

He was transported by the Granite Falls Ambulance to the Granite Falls Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved.

The Renville County and Yellow Medicine County sheriff’s offices and Granite Falls Police assisted.
