SAINT LOUIS PARK — Sharon Marie Tomlinson, 43, of Willmar had to be airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis with life-threatening injuries early Saturday morning following a two-vehicle crash on state Highway 169 in Saint Louis Park.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 2:45 a.m. Saturday on southbound Highway 169 over Interstate 394.

The report said Tomlinson, driving a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria, entered 169 at a high rate of speed, spun out and came to a stop in the left driving lane, facing the wrong direction.

A 2007 Ford Fusion, driven by Ronald Wilfred Baros, 58, of Anoka, did not see the Crown Victoria and hit it head on. Baros suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash.

The state patrol reported alcohol was a factor in regards to Tomlinson and that she was not wearing a seat belt. Baros was wearing his seat belt. Road conditions were wet at the time of the crash.
