Crash

NEW LONDON — A 30-year-old woman was injured Saturday morning following an all-terrain-vehicle crash near New London, according to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office.

Krystal Vogepohl, of New London, suffered non-life-threatening injuries after she lost control of her four-wheeler causing it to roll on 115th Street Northeast, south of State Highway 23.

She was transported by New London Ambulance to Carris Health Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

The New London Fire Department and the Lakes Area Responders also responded to the incident.

Arrests

WILLMAR — A 50-year-old man was arrested Saturday morning in the 300 block of Fourth Street Southwest. Police responded to a report of harassment and arrested the man on two active warrants.

WILLMAR — A 19-year woman was arrested after a traffic stop Saturday evening at Fourth Street and Litchfield Avenue Southwest. Potential charges include drug possession, driving after suspension and possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Harassment

WILLMAR — A Willmar Middle School employee reported Saturday afternoon that they had received a letter from a student containing racial slurs and threats. They asked to have a police officer speak with the student.

Theft

WILLMAR — A wallet was reportedly stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Third Street Southeast. The theft was reported Sunday morning.

NEW LONDON — A student reported a wallet missing from the locker room at New London Spicer Schools. The wallet was reportedly stolen earlier in the week and contained cash, credit cards and a driver’s license.
