WILLMAR — A vehicle owner reported its theft on Saturday from the 600 block of Becker Avenue SW, Willmar. It was taken from his driveway.
A vehicle owner reported the theft of a vehicle from the 300 block of Seventh Street NW in Willmar on Friday. It had been recovered and was in the impound lot when discovered missing.
WILLMAR — A 23-year-old man was arrested for an alleged assault in which a woman was struck in the head and chased in her car on 10th Street NE in Willmar just after midnight on Sunday.

SUNBURG — A Sunburg area resident reported his snowmobile trailer was missing from the end of his driveway. It had been placed there with items for the taking with a sign “For Free” and reported someone apparently took it. The trailer was later recovered and is not listed as a theft.
Truck fire extinguished
WILLMAR — A fire extinguisher was used to put out a fire in a Dodge pickup truck around 11:30 p.m. Friday on Oxford Drive SE and Cambridge Lane SE in Willmar.
Three hurt in Willmar motorcycle accident
WILLMAR - Three motorcyclists were treated at Carris Health- Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar following an accident on Trunk Highway 23 at Highway 71 in Willmar at 12:24 p.m. on Friday.
A motorcycle was southbound on Highway 23 when it veered into a ditch and crashed into a cable median barrier, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Motorcyclists who witnessed the accident slowed down to assist the driver. The two motorcyclists hit each other while attempting to stop.
The first motorcyclist was identified as Chad Eric Larsen, 49, of New London. He was driving a 2016 Harley Davidson FLHX.
The second motorcyclist was Dorothy Marie Rosemeier, 65, of DeGraff. She was driving a 2006 Harley Davidson FLSTNI.
The third motorcyclist was Jesse Charles Lippert, 38, of Blomkest. He was driving a 2012 Harley Davidson FLHTCU.
The injuries for all three victims were described as non-life threatening. No alcohol was involved.
The Willmar Police Department and Carris Health Ambulance assisted at the scene.
Suspect in custody after high-speed pursuit in Kandiyohi County
WILLMAR - A 31-year-old Montevideo man is in custody after leading law officers in Kandiyohi County on a high-speed chase in Dovre Township at 6:44 p.m. on Friday.
The pursuit covered 4.7 miles and reached speeds in excess of 80 miles per hour, according to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office.
Sergeant Robbie Braness reported that a sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a 1999 GMC Yukon near County Road 27 and County Road 5. When the deputy attempted to get behind the vehicle, it immediately accelerated and began evading the deputy. A motor vehicle pursuit was initiated.
The vehicle eventually stopped on County Road 27 near County Road 9. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident. He is currently being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail pending formal charges.
One hurt in Yellow Medicine County rollover
GRANITE FALLS - An 18-year-old driver from Renville was treated for non-life-threatening injuries sustained in a roll-over accident in Yellow Medicine County on Saturday.
Aerial Zephyr Hagen was driving a 2012 Dodge Avenger northbound on state Highway 274 around 9:46 p.m. She lost control on the curves and entered a ditch and rolled, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
She was treated for her injuries at the Avera Granite Falls Hospital. She was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol was not a factor.
The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office, Wood Lake First Responders, and Granite Falls Ambulance responded.
