OLIVIA — A two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon at an intersection in Renville County injured two Olivia women, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

According to the crash report, Nancy Kay Hague, 75, and Brenda Ann Hedeen, 51, both suffered non-life threatening injuries related to the crash and were both transported to Olivia Hospital and Clinic.

Hague was driving a 2019 Jeep Cherokee southbound on U.S. Highway 71 and collided with Hedeen's 2016 Chevrolet Equinox which was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 212, according to the State Patrol.

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts, road conditions were dry and both of their airbags deployed. Alcohol is not involved, according to the crash report.

The Renville County Sheriff's Office also responded to the incident reported at 4:19 p.m.
