HECTOR — A Hector woman was injured Tuesday afternoon after her motorcycle collided with a semitractor, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

According to the crash report, Tammy Jean Kielty, 59, was driving a 2003 Harley-Davidson FXDL on state Highway 4 when she attempted to pass a 2012 Kenworth semitractor on the left when the vehicles collided.

Kielty suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hutchinson Health Hospital. She was wearing a helmet.

The driver of the semi, Nurdin Abdi Mohamed, 45, of Minneapolis, and his passenger, Sudais Abdi Mohamed, 7, of Minneapolis, do not have any injuries listed on the crash report. Both were wearing a seat belt.

Alcohol was not involved and road conditions were dry.

The Renville County Sheriff's Office and Hector Ambulance also responded to the incident, reported at 4:32 p.m. Tuesday.
