Car window broken

WILLMAR — A vehicle owner reported Monday morning that a window had been broken out on the car either Thursday night or Friday morning on the 1700 block of Seventh Street Southwest.

Suspicious vehicle

PENNOCK — A resident in Pennock reported that a white SUV was driving around the house and honking at 4 a.m. Monday.

Shotgun left behind

SUNBURG — A man found a shotgun left at a wildlife management area Sunday evening near the intersection of 270th Avenue and 133rd Street Northwest. The man believes it may belong to a man he had spoken with briefly at the site.

Off to bad start

WILLMAR — A deputy from outside of the county was on a transport in Kandiyohi County and stopped a vehicle at 5:12 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of 15th Avenue and County Road 8 Southeast east of Willmar for driving on the wrong side of the road. The driver had just received her instruction permit and was learning to drive, according to the report.

Arrests

WILLMAR — Two men, ages 32 and 41, were arrested on out-of-county warrants at 1:06 p.m. Sunday and one of the two was also charged with shoplifting and fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine on the 3300 block of First Street South.

Fire

WILLMAR — Willmar firefighters responded to a call at 8:40 p.m. Sunday of a small fire in a garage that was extinguished by the owner on the 1600 block of Monongalia Avenue Southwest. Rags that had been used for staining were in a bag with other garbage and a chemical reaction of the ingredients in the stain ignited the rags.
