Adam T. Mikelson
April 14, 1987 - March 23, 2006
WILLMAR -- Adam Thomas Mikelson, 18, of Willmar died Thursday from injuries suffered in a car accident.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Assembly of God Church in Willmar.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and one hour before the service at the church.

He was born on April 14, 1987, in Willmar to Tom and Linda (Buelow) Mikelson. He attended Community Christian School in Willmar through fourth grade and then attended Central Minnesota Christian School in Prinsburg, where he was a senior and planned to graduate in May. He had received a soccer scholarship and planned to attend Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa.
He was involved in soccer, basketball and, for the past three years, triathlons. He volunteered as a physical education assistant for the CMCS grade school and was a lifeguard for the past three years at the YMCA in Willmar. He was active in youth group at Willmar Christian Reformed Church, where he was a member.
He is survived by his parents; sisters: Heather of Minneapolis and Christine of Willmar; his grandparents: Ruby Mikelson of Brainerd, and Norman and Duveen Buelow of Prescott, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dean Mikelson.
