RECEIPT AND OPENING OF PROPOSALS: Sealed proposals for the work described below will be received at the Office of the County Administrator, KANDIYOHI COUNTY, Health & Human Services Building, 2200 23rd Street NE, Suite 2020, Willmar, MN 56201 until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read.

together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications.

COMPLETION OF WORK: All work under the Contract must be substantially complete by November 30, 2006. Final completion must be accomplished by September 30, 2007.

Minimum wage rates to be paid by the contractor have been predetermined. Read carefully the wage scales contained in the Special Provisions, as they affect this project.

Attention is called to the fact that the contractor must comply with the Special Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, contained in the proposal.

TO OBTAIN BID DOCUMENTS: Plans, specifications and all contract documents may be obtained at the office of Bolton & Menk, Inc., 2040 Highway 12 East, Willmar, MN 56201, PHONE 1-320-231-3956, FAX 1-320-231-99710, in payment of $85.00 (non-refundable) for each set obtained.

Electronic bids and fax bids will not be accepted.

BID SECURITY: A certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of Kandiyohi County shall accompany each bid.

OWNER'S RIGHT RESERVED: The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
