MEDICINE LAKE -- Agnes V. Stelzner, 100, of Medicine Lake, formerly of Murdock, died Monday at the home of her son in Canyon Lake, Calif.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 15 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Plymouth. Burial will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in New Hope.
Arrangements are with David Lee Mortuary in Wayzata.

She was born Jan. 9, 1906, in Hillyard, Wash., to Catherine (Schmidt) and Anton Schlagel. The family returned to Murdock where she grew up on the family farm. She graduated from St. Cloud State College and was a teacher in the White Bear Lake School District.
She married Morrill E. Stelzner in 1937. They had a home on Medicine Lake and were instrumental in forming the city of Medicine Lake in 1944. She did volunteer work for the city until 2004.
She was a member of St Mary of the Lake Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children: John of Canyon Lake, Calif., Joan of Aurora, Colo.; five grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; and her brother: Tom (and Lu Ann) Schlagel of Murdock.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two infant daughters, two sisters and one brother.
