WILLMAR -- Alan Lee Hillebrandt, 53, of Willmar died Monday at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Assembly of God Church in Willmar.
He was born May 28, 1954, in Eerie, Pa., to Gerald Hillebrandt and Kay Kitchen. He was raised by his father and step-mother, Grace Hillebrandt, in West Lakes, La. He attended West Lakes Elementary school and graduated from Istrouma High School in Baton Rouge, La. He served in the Navy for three years and was stationed aboard a submarine during the Vietnam War. He also was stationed off the coasts of Hawaii and California.
He married Pamela Elliot on Dec. 21, 1993, in Baker, La. He was employed by Central Minnesota Fabricating of Willmar.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Willmar.

He is survived by his wife; son: Logan Hillebrandt; a sister: Cate; step-sister: Renee; and step-brothers: Robin and Robert.
