GLENWOOD -- Alice Berdine Hansen, 87, of Glenwood, formerly of Alexandria, died Monday at Good Samaritan Society, Lakeview, in Glenwood.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Glenwood United Parish in Glenwood. Burial will be at Reno Mission Cemetery in rural Lowry.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood and one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was born May 22, 1920, in Starbuck to Engebret and Magda (Mortenson) Braaten. She lived in Starbuck and attended school there.
She married Lester Danielson on June 26, 1942. They farmed in rural Pope County for a few years and then moved to Granite Falls in 1952 where they owned and operated a service station and motel. They later moved to Glenwood.

She married Herman Hansen on Sept. 19, 1978. They lived in Becida. She lived in Morris and Wadena. Then she moved into her mobile home in Alexandria.
She is survived by her grandchildren: Bradley Danielson of Jamestown, N.D., and Tracey Danielson of Fergus Falls; a sister: Milly Estenson of Alexandria; stepchildren and stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both her husbands; a son: Leland Danielson; a sister; and a brother.
