WILLMAR -- Alice Edith Woltjer, 80, of Willmar died Tuesday at her winter home in Orlando, Fla.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at First Covenant Church in Willmar. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

She was born July 28, 1926, in Roseland to John and Ann (Brouwer) Theget. The family moved to Willmar in 1948.

She married Alfred Woltjer on July 9, 1948, in Willmar. They lived and farmed in Pennock. They were semi-retired and moved to the Eagle Lake area in 1976. They have wintered in Orlando, Fla., since 1990.

She attended Salem Covenant Church and was involved in the women's Bible study and other women's activities.

She is survived by her husband; children: Ron (and Tai Jen) Woltjer of Sartell, Don Woltjer of Neosho, Mo. (and Suz Skinner of Joplin, Mo.), Rick (and Kim) Woltjer of Pennock, Dave (and Rena) Woltjer of Pueblo, Colo., Dan Woltjer of Willmar, Mary (and Jim) Layman of Roseland; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her siblings: Art (and Barb) Theget of Lake Placid, Fla., Winifred Quam of Kandiyohi, Esther (and Walter) Davis of St. Paul, Clarice (and Lewis) Larson of Sunburg and Margaret (and Bill) Oakleaf of Willmar.

She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
