WILLMAR -- The Minnesota All-Breeds Convention, "Together Again in 2010," will be March 4-6 at the Holiday Inn and Willmar Conference Center.
The event will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Minnesota Holstein Association and the 10th Anniversary of the Minnesota All-Breeds Convention. Convention hosts are the Kandiyohi Holstein Association together with breeder and organization partners.
The Minnesota Purebred Dairy Cattle Association annual meeting will be Friday morning, followed by the Purebred Dairy Cattle Association Award luncheon.
Afternoon activities include the alternative program tour of the Glacial Ridge Winery and a shopping stop in New London. Meetings scheduled are the Minnesota Holstein Association committees, Brown Swiss and Milking Shorthorn annual meetings and Jersey directors.
The evening anniversary banquet keynote speaker is Rulon Gardner, the 2000 Olympic Gold Medal wrestler.

Breed recognition awards will be presented during the banquet.
The annual meetings of the Holstein, Jersey, Guernsey and Red and White breed associations will be the morning of March 6. The 2010 Jersey Queen will be selected.
Closing the convention is the noon awards luncheon with Elizabeth Olson, the 56th Princess Kay of the Milky Way.
The Holstein USA Region 6 member meeting will be following the convention.
