CLARA CITY -- Alvina Lucille Ruppert, 79, of Clara City died Tuesday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Clara's Catholic Church in Clara City.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Clara City.
She was born May 9, 1928, in New London to Thomas and Lucy (Pelkey) Snyder. She grew up in New London and graduated from New London High School in 1946.

She married Axel Lindahl in 1946. They lived in New London. She worked at the New London Nursing Home, at the ASCS (FSA) office, at PFF group homes and at Bethesda Nursing Home, all in Willmar. Axel died in 1967.
She married Maurice Ruppert on Feb. 28, 1970, in Willmar. They lived on a farm near Kerkhoven and later moved to Clara City. They spent winters in Mesa, Ariz. Maurice died in 2005.
She was a member of St. Clara's Catholic Church in Clara City and of the VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughters: Maxine Gish of Roseburg, Ore., and Wendy Reimann of Stillwater; six grandchildren; and a sister: June Ayotte of Lake Lillian.
She was preceded in death by both husbands and her son: Edward Lindahl.
