Jeff Wollin took a five-hit shutout into the ninth inning before misfortune struck. The veteran right-hander gave up a leadoff homer to Mike Innes to tie the game and Brian Mathiasen followed with a double. St. Cloud then attempted to sacrifice Mathiasen to third, but Litchfield threw the ball away, allowing him to score the winning run.
Wollin walked two and struck out six. He also had two of the Blues' six hits.
