Amelia J. Knutson

GROVE CITY -- Amelia Josephine "Milly" Knutson, 84, of Grove City died Friday.
The service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Litchfield.
Visitation will be 1½ hours prior to the service at church. Arrangements are with Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield.

She was born July 21, 1921, in Forest Lake. She graduated from Forest Lake High in 1939 and the University of Minnesota in 1945.
She married Jerome Knutson on Aug. 19, 1953, in Forest Lake. She was a county extension agent in Meeker and Washington counties. She also worked as a quality control technician at 3M for 18 years.
She was a member of the Church of St. Philip, where she was involved in the Daughters of Isabella and the quilting mission group. She was also a member of the CARE Program in Grove City.
She is survived by her children: Greg of Grove City and Lynne of Shoreview; brother: George Thurnbeck of Forest Lake, and sisters: Mary Charpentier of Oak Park and Elizabeth "Betty" Vanselow of Swanville.
She is preceded in death by her husband; three brothers; and her parents, John and Catherine (Hauble) Thurnbeck.
