Amelia Anderson of Ithaca, N.Y., and Bradley Wile of Clinton, N.Y., are engaged to be married July 23 at Grand Superior Lodge in Two Harbors.

Anderson is the daughter of Rob and Linda Anderson of Spicer.

She is a 2001 graduate of Renville County West High School in Renville and a 2005 graduate of Hamline University in St. Paul with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. She received her doctorate in chemistry from Cornell University in Ithaca this year. She will be an assistant professor of chemistry at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.

Wile is the son of Cindy McDougall of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and Greg and Marilyn Wile of Qualicum, British Columbia, Canada.

He is a 1998 graduate of St. Mary's High School in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and a 2002 graduate of St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada, with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. He received his doctorate in chemistry in 2006 from Dalhouise University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He completed a postdoctoral associate at Cornell University in Ithaca and will be an assistant professor of chemistry at Ohio Northern University.
