NEW LONDON -- Andrew Jerome Leason, 23, of St. Cloud, formerly of New London, died Monday in St. Cloud.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hope Presbyterian Church in Spicer. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in New London.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home in New London and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Memorials preferred to River of Hope Community Center at Hope Presbyterian Church.
He was born March 3, 1982, in Willmar to Jerry and Jody (Grosklags) Leason. He grew up in the New London area, attended New London-Spicer grade school and graduated from Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa High School in 2000. He continued his education at Alexandria Technical College, Ridgewater College and St. Cloud State University. He joined the National Guard in 1999 and served until 2005. He worked in shipping and receiving for HDL.

He was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his parents of New London; sister: Sarah Leason of New London; and grandparents: Don and Hilda Grosklags of Spicer and Pauline Leason of Willmar.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Ed Leason.
