KINGSTON -- A 21-year-old Annandale man has died as a result of injuries suffered in a head-on crash Wednesday morning along state Highway 15 south of Kingston.
According to the State Patrol, Brett J. Thompson was driving a 2002 Pontiac, crossed the cen-ter line and was struck by a 2007 International semi driven by Sally E. Jaeger, 51, of Richmond. Jaeger was not injured. The accident happened around 7:30 a.m.
Thompson was transported to St. Cloud Hospital and then sent on to Hennepin County Medi-cal Center in Minneapolis, where he died. The Meeker County Sheriff's Office, Dassel Fire and Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance also responded to the scene.
