MINNEAPOLIS -- Annie Elvera Dahlberg, 91, of Minneapolis, formerly of New London, died Friday at Bethany Covenant Home in Minneapolis.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Evangelical Covenant Church in New London. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery in rural New London.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in New London.

She was born Feb. 26, 1915 in Burbank Township near New London to John and Mary (Johnson) Dahlberg. She attended grade school at District 10 and graduated from New London High School in 1932. She received teachers training in Willmar and taught in Districts 13, 16, 10, 8 and 9. Following her years of teaching, she worked in Covenant Home Missions in Bemidji and at Brookdale Covenant Church in Minneapolis and Seattle where she did office and youth work. She also worked as a "house parent" for girls ages 4 to 14 at the Covenant Children's Home in Princeton, Ill. Before retiring, she worked at Bethany Covenant Home in Minneapolis doing office and activities work.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
