WILLMAR -- Anthony Martin "Tony" Beringer, 58, of Willmar died Sunday at Rice Memorial Hospital.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be for two hours prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.
He was born Dec. 2, 1947, in Wadena to Ambrose and Hildegard (Wegscheid) Beringer. He grew up and attended school in the Bluffton and Wadena areas.

He married Cheryl Craite on July 7, 1968, in Detroit. They lived in International Falls, where he worked for Boise Cascade, moved to New York Mills, where they farmed and raised turkeys, and moved to Willmar in 1979. They farmed and raised turkeys for Willmar Poultry.
He married Cyndee Thompson on June 24, 1989, in Willmar. She died in 1994. He drove for Donnelly Trucking for the past several years.
He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles AERIE 2334 in Willmar.
He is survived by his daughters: Lisa (and Jerry) Carlson, Crystal (and Kyle) Goosmann, all of Willmar; five grandchildren; his siblings: Barb (and Chuck) Morrison of Detroit Lakes, Mary (and Pete) Peterson of Merrifield, Rosie Altstad of Perham, Alice (and Harvey) Kemper of Dassel, John (and Anita) Beringer of Bluffton, Fran (and Lisa) Beringer of Maple Grove; and his ex-wife, Cheryl Peterson, special friend Linda Leaks.
He was preceded in death by his wife Cyndee; and two brothers.
