GRANITE FALLS -- Archibald "Archie" Holien, 92, of Granite Falls died Sunday at the Clarkfield Care Center.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home Chapel in Granite Falls. Burial will be at the Granite Falls City Cemetery.
He was born June 13, 1913, in rural Granite Falls to Iver and Betsy (Holien) Holien. He attended public school in Granite Falls. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, in the European Theater. He was honorably discharged.
He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3871 of Granite Falls.

He is survived by his cousin: Stanley (and JoAnn) Holien of Granite Falls.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
