KERKHOVEN -- Archie Lee Bowman, 72, of Kerkhoven died Saturday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Church in Kerkhoven. Private burial will be at Frank Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Kerkhoven.

He was born May 10, 1934, in Swift County to Walter and Lottie (Oles) Bowman. He grew up in Six Mile Grove Township where he started his schooling. The family later moved to Hayes Township, where he completed his schooling.
On Oct. 1, 1960, he married Sharon Carlson. They farmed in rural Murdock where he also worked as a blacksmith. In 1981, he retired from farming. He continued to work as a blacksmith until 2004, when due to his health he retired. He became a resident of Bethesda Pleasantview in January.
He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by is his wife; children: Marlycs (and Keith) Van Heuveln of Kerkhoven, Sherrie McCoy of Kerkhoven, Stacie (and Jim) Feldman of Murdock, Kevin (and Kim) Bowman of Kerkhoven, and Jon (and Jeanine) Bowman of Sunburg; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
