Area city council races on Tuesday's ballot

Municipal residents will cast ballots for mayor and city council members Tuesday. In many west Central Minnesota cities there are competitive races but in some cities not enough candidates filed to run for the open seats.

Municipal residents will cast ballots for mayor and city council members Tuesday. In many west Central Minnesota cities there are competitive races but in some cities not enough candidates filed to run for the open seats.

Based on data from the Minnesota Secretary of State's website, the West Central Tribune is publishing a list of candidates for mayor and city council from many area cities. The names are in alphabetical order and incumbents are noted.
