WILLMAR _ Swimmers from Willmar, Dassel-Cokato/Litchfield, Montevideo/YME and Minnewaska/Morris will head to the state meet next weekend in Minneapolis as a result of fast swims on Saturday at the Section 3A meet held at Willmar Senior High School.
Willmar will send three relays and DCL two.
Individual champions included Dan Felt of DCL in the 200 freestyle, Stefan Lemke of Minnwaska/Morris in the 500 freestyle and Steve Kluver of Willmar in the backstroke.
The Willmar 200-freestyle relay team set a school and pool record when zipped to a 1:29.65. Relay members are Jackson Roberts, Kyle Schmidt, Andrew Nicklawsky and Andy Johnson.
Montevideo's David Nedrud will advance to his third state meet in three events.
