GRANITE FALLS -- Arleigh Arden Jeseritz, 87, of Granite Falls, died Saturday at the Granite Manor.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wood Lake. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Granite Falls, with a prayer service at 8 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was born March 19, 1921, on the home farm in Minnesota Falls Township, Yellow Medicine County, to Charles and Martha (Giese) Jeseritz. He attended parochial and country school.
He married Vivian Mae Reinke on Oct. 22, 1944, in Granite Falls. They farmed the home place along the bank of the Yellow Medicine River. He worked for the National Weather Service tracking precipitation and water levels of the Yellow Medicine River for 65 years.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where he served as church elder.
He is survived by his wife; three children: Sandee (and Jerry) Sader of Mankato, Jilane (and Jerry) Binstock of Good Thunder, and Randy Jeseritz (and special friend Shelley Loose) of Granite Falls; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three grandchildren and two sisters.
