LITCHFIELD -- Arlene Joan Snow, 80, of Litchfield died Wednesday at the Meeker County Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Augustana Memorial Chapel in Litchfield.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel. Arrangements are by Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home of Litchfield.
She was born May 3, 1927, in Litchfield to Walter and Elizabeth (Anderson) Nystrom. She grew up in Litchfield and Atwater. She graduated from Atwater High School in 1945.
She married Dale Hawes. She lived in LeSueur for a few years.

She married Raymond Snow in 1974. They lived in Minneapolis for 28 years. She worked for the Park Davis Drug Company, Maple Plain Molded Products, and Edina High School for 18 years. She moved back to Litchfield about three years ago.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, where she served as president for five years. She delivered Meals on Wheels and volunteered at Park Nicollet.
She is survived by her husband; children: Gary (and Christina) Hawes of Litchfield, Duane Hawes of St. Cloud and Kathy (and Tom) Frenn of Clear Lake; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister: Mae Brynteson of Litchfield.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
