SPICER -- Arlene R. Miller, 79, of Games Lake died Saturday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in rural Spicer. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home in New London, with parish prayers at 4:45 p.m. Visitation continues for one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
She was born Sept. 4, 1929, in Belgrade to Henry and Theresa (Schramel) Weimerskirch. She grew up on the family farm in rural Belgrade.
She worked at Ideal Café in Belgrade and later moved to Minneapolis with her sister, Marie, to work for American Linen.

On Oct. 16, 1954, she married Cliphord L. Miller in Belgrade. They lived in Minneapolis. She later worked as a cook for Anoka-Hennepin School District, becoming head cook. In 1990 they moved to their retirement home on Games Lake. After moving to the New London area she worked for Glen Oaks as a dietary aide.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, where she assisted with the elementary religion class.
She is survived by her husband; children: Marcia (and Clayton) Betzold of Andover, James (and Caralyn) Miller of Eagan; four grandchildren; and siblings: Rosalie Olson of Grand Prairie, Texas, Gloria (and Clifford) Terhaar of Lowry, Marie (and Wayne) Aumndson of Benson, Arnold (and Anne) Weimerskirch of Excelsior, Joseph Weimerskirch of Belgrade and Dennis (and Nancy) Weimerskirch of Belgrade.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
