BENSON -- Arline A. Offerdahl, 83, of Benson died Thursday at St. Cloud Hospital.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and for one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.
She was born May 16, 1925, on a farm north of Kerkhoven to Albin and Esther (Swenson) Gandrud. She attended Country School District 66 and later graduated from Kerkhoven High School. She moved to Benson in 1943.
She married George Offerdahl on April 20, 1946 in Nashua, Iowa.

They lived west of Benson. She worked at Mac's coffee bar and later at Randgard's Cafe. She worked at Darold's Red Owl store in Benson as a produce assistant for 22 years, retiring in 1988. She moved to an apartment in Benson in 2004.
She was a member of Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church and was active in the altar guild, circle, Bible studies, Helping Hands and Ladies Aid. She taught Bible school. She was a member of the Swift County Historical Society and a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 1403.
She is survived by three sons: Jim (and Marcia) Offerdahl of rural Benson, Bob (and Joanie) Offerdahl of Tacoma, Wash., Lee (and Cindy) Offerdahl of Lakeville; two daughters: Kay (and Joe) Johnson of Willmar and Kathie (and John) Dziengel of Melrose; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Mona (and Hank) Swart of Spicer, and Carole (and Gordy) Freeman of New London.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son: Gary; a daughter: Nancy Ann, in infancy; and two siblings.
